Six Reasons You Need a Health Care Directive

A health care directive does two things:

  1. It nominates health care agents to make decisions on your behalf when you are alive but incapacitated, and

  2. it instructs your health care agent as to what you want those decisions to be.

It seems simple enough, but it is a critically important part of your estate plan. In today’s video we look at my top six reasons that people need to have a health care directive as part of their estate plan.
